Today, The Duchess of Cambridge is carrying out two solo engagements in London.
Firstly, she is following in the footsteps of her late mother-in-law, Diana, by visiting a children’s hospital she was very fond of, the Great Ormond Street Hospital, to hear about the cutting edge research to help the most seriously ill children.
There Kate officially opened the Mittal Children’s Medical Centre, home to the new Premier Inn Clinical Building. Her second engagement took her to Bond Primary School, where she saw the work of the Wimbledon Tennis Junior Initiative. It works to promote the benefits of physical activity for children and young people through offering free tennis coaching sessions in a number of primary schools.
Today Kate wore a new coat by Boden — the ‘Lena’ style, available for $278.
