Today, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Duke & Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry attended the Grenfell Tower National Memorial Service — Remembrance, Hope and Unity at St Paul’s Cathedral yesterday.
Exactly six months on from the Grenfell Tower disaster where 71 people were killed, including 18 children, as a fire swept through the 24-storey apartment building, a service is being held to remember those who died. 70 others were injured, and hundreds made homeless. The service is also to show solidarity with the bereaved and survivors, and to give thanks for everyone who assisted on the ground at the time of the tragedy and since, including emergency services, the recovery team, community response, public support, and volunteers.
For the engagement Kate wore a new Carolina Herrera ‘Double Breasted Double-Faced Wool Coat’ featuring a pleated skirt, six golden buttons and a raised collar. It is no longer available. Kate also owns a red Carolina Herrera coat worn in Canada and Paris.
She carried her LK Bennett ‘Frome’ clutch which is now on sale for $147.50 (down from $295). The mother of two also had on her diamond and sapphire drop earrings, as well as some new navy gloves which have not been identified yet. Kate’s hat was also new, and a style we have not previously seen her wear. As for shoes, the Duchess opted for her Jimmy Choo ‘Georgia’ pumps with a small block heel.
