Here she is! Just hours after giving birth to the still-unamed Princess of Cambridge—fourth in line to the throne—Duchess Kate emerged from inside the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital with her new daughter in her arms .
Wearing a yellow and white floral dress by Jenny Packham – the same designer behind the famous blue spotted frock she wore after George’s birth – she smiled and waved.
Just three hours later, at 8:34 a.m., the baby girl made her arrival and the proud parents spent the morningcalling their loved ones before an official statement was released at 11 a.m.
Before leaving the hospital, the couple thanked hospital staff. In a statement, Kensington Palace said, “Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank all staff at the hospital for the care and treatment they have all received. They would also like to thank everyone for their warm wishes.”
