In a media preview held today at Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store at the Takashimaya Shopping Centre in Singapore, members of the press were treated to an exclusive look at the 2015 collection of Tiffany Masterpieces, hosted by Design Director Francesca Amfitheatroff and Chief Gemologist Melvyn Kirtley.
“Introducing the Masterpieces collection in Singapore emphasises Tiffany’s growing global presence, as well as give our guests an experience of grandeur,” says Marc Jacheet, group vice president of Tiffany & Co. Asia Pacific. “Part of that is acknowledging our own remarkable history and the glamour of our home in New York City, along with the energy of Singapore.”
The collection is set to make its worldwide debut when it is officially unveiled at a glamorous gala event tomorrow, and the decision by the American label to take the lid of its high jewellery collection here marks a win and a statement of recognition of Singapore as an important Asian hub for its businesses.
Unique statement pieces were on display for guests to admire, while they indulged in bites whipped up by 3-Michelin star chef Bruno Menard and enjoyed performances from acapella Group Naturally 7 as well as winner of The Voice Season 5, Tessanne Chin.
The crowning moment of the already spectacular night came when a dessert bar, crafted by seasoned pastry chef Janice Wong, was revealed, comprising a glittering skyline with edible “diamonds”, a fitting ode to Tiffany & Co.’s history of being the ultimate diamond purveyor.
One of our favourites is the Tiffany five-row diamond bracelet. Each diamond on the bracelet has its own bracket that is individually joined together to create maximum movement and flexibility, allowing the piece to mould and adjust according to its wearer.
