People and Hello magazine paid the sum of $2.5m each for exclusive rights to their intimate wedding in Chateau Miraval in France, reported RadarOnline.
The couple are planning to give all the money to charity.
The website reported that the couple were well aware there would be huge interest in their wedding day and decided to donate the money to their foundation, the Maddox Jolie Pitt Foundation which supports numerous humanitarian projects around the world such as clean water projects and vaccines for children.
This wouldn’t be the first time the couple have done this.
When their daughter Shiloh was born in 2006, the couple are believed to have made up to $6m from the first pictures – and this was donated to charity.
By the time their twins – Knox and Vivienne – arrived in 2010, the Maddox Jolie Pitt Foundation had been set up.
It’s been reported the couple made as much as $8m to $18m for the first pictures of their newborn twins. And, once again, this was donated to charity.
The couple wed two weeks ago in an intimate ceremony which had just twenty guests including Brad’s parents.
Angelina’s father Jon Voight did not appear to be aware the wedding had taken place until after the event.
The couple’s six children played a key role. Maddox (13) and Pax (10) walked their mother up the aisle, Zahara (9) and Vivienne (4) were flower girls, while Shiloh (8) and Knox (4) were ring bearers.
