The Duchess of Cambridge made a colourful return today as she attended her first official engagement of the year. Kate was elegant as ever in a blue custom-made Alexander McQueen coat as she joined the Air Cadets to mark their 75th anniversary, as Honorary Air Commandant of the organisation.

Seeing Kate at an event is always a good excuse to update our closets, now that spring is just around the corner, it’s definitely time to think forward to the new season and to get inspired. Kate previously wore that coat during a royal tour of New Zealand and it is one of our favourite looks to date.

The only thing I love more than spending all of my money on clothes is having a karaoke night with my colleagues. Neither are very good for my social life. When not doing either of these things, you'll most likely find me abroad, posting pictures of my feet on the beach or my cocktail in a pineapple.
