This season Zuhair Murad revisited the pannier skirts that were in during Elizabeth I. Cascades of 3-D floral embroideries, each element sewn on individually, poured over dresses both short and long.
The designer said backstage that he loves the possibilities of corsets and that you could say he wanted to put women in a gilded cage. Even though he said he wasn’t thinking red carpet while creating the collection, we can absolutely imagine some of those pieces on a rising Hollywood beauty.
