Catherine looked ravishing in a fitted, double-breasted Carolina Herrera red coat with a Peter Pan collar, proving that red is her colour. She paired the look with black pumps and a matching scarf.

Royal Visit to Canada - Day Five

The royal couple visited the museum’s telegraph office to send the first ever telegraph to Twitter. the message read: “THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE, SEPTEMBER 2016, WHITEHORSE YUKON”

This visit was very meaningful for the royals as Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh visited the same telegraph office back in 1959.

The couple also sat in on story time with local children at the museum, learning about the territory’s history, and greeted residents at a street party outside.

The couple shared a sweet loving moment as they sat in on a children’s story time at MacBride Museum Yuko and Kate couldn’t help but laugh as she and William listened to stories read by elders in the First Nation Tutchone language.

When they went out and met the crowd Prince William told a 5-month-old: “That is definitely the best way to be dressed today,” meaning the chilly day it was.

Kate hurried back to the hotel to change before the couple set off from the gold rush town of Whitehorse, in the Canadian province of Yukon, for Carcross, a nearby town of less than 300 people.

Later this afternoon William and Kate will travel a short distance to the beautiful Montana Mountain where they will visit one of the world’s most picturesque destinations for mountain biking.
