Oscars 2016: Nominees


Will Leonardo DiCaprio finally get an Oscar? He sure has a huge chance now that he’s got a nomination.


Award season officially started this Sunday with The Golden Globe Awards! Today were announced the nominees of the 88th annual Academy Award .The Oscars will be held on Sunday, Feb. 28, at the Dolby Theater. Chris Rock will host the show for the second time, following his first stint at the 77th Annual Academy Awards in 2005.

Oscar statuettes are displayed at Times Square Studios 23 January 2006 in New York. The statuettes will be presented to winners of the 78th Academy Awards 05 March 2006 in Hollywood.

Films expected to do well with the Academy are the following: Spotlight, the financial crisis comedy The Big Short, action epic Mad Max: Fury Road, survival dramaThe Revenant, and sci-fi hit (and Golden Globe-winning comedy!) The Martian.
