Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge visited a helpline service today, run by one of the eight charity partners of Heads Together, to see what happens when people reach out for support.
The helpline, operated by YoungMinds, offers support and advice to any adult worried about the emotional problems, behaviour or mental health of a child or young person up to the age of 25.
Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge met some of the volunteers who answer those calls, to find out more about what motivated them to get involved, and how they find their experience of volunteering. They took part in a taster session of some of the training helpline volunteers undertake.
The Duchess wore a red dress and beige clutch by L.K.Bennett, paired with Gianvito Rossi pointed-toe nude pumps.
