Whitening your smile is important, but finding the time for a dentist visit isn’t always in the cards. Use Banana Peel
Take a piece of the inside of the banana peel and gently rub around on your teeth for about 2 minutes. The amazing minerals in the peel like potassium, magnesium and manganese absorb into your teeth and whiten them. Repeat the same procedure at night or before bedtime, to whiten teeth.
Watch your diet
Diet is important. Certain foods are damaging to the teeth. The more acidic they are, the more chance there is of erosion, and that can be a problem. Refined foods adhere more easily to the surface of the teeth, which is why whole wheat bread is better for your teeth than white bread.
Think before you drink
Alcohol turns into sugar. People drink without thinking much of it, but alcohol will create erosion and damage the structure of the teeth.
Snack on celery
Foods high in cellulose (like celery, apples and carrots) act as natural abrasives, sloughing off stains while you chew.
You know you’re supposed to floss, but it turns out, flossing doesn’t just help with gum health. It also prevents stains from forming in between teeth, therefore causing an overall darker look.
