Giuseppe Zanotti’s creations have maintained the same quality in fact better each year as technology becomes more advanced and as fashion keeps changing every season. His designs remain intact with his original inspirational sources, music and art.

Giuseppe Zanotti’s main signature is exquisite embroidery and bejeweled creations. Giuseppe has such a connection with the shoes he designs and the women he imagines wearing them.

Every element of these shoes is perfectly poised and designed. The sculptural front panels provide easy support, with a slick of metallic leather highlighting the open-toe shape. Meanwhile a lick of bold suede down each side places the focus on the profile.

When designing, Giuseppe believes “shoes are just an extension of the legs.” Giuseppe has three different labels, Giuseppe Zanotti Designs, Vicini and Tapeet. Mary-Kate Olsen, Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus are all fans of Giuseppe’s heels. Giuseppe has designed shoes for many labels including Roberto Cavalli, DSquared, Blumarine, Balmain, and most recently Vionnet.

Zanotti has long been enchanted with an idealized version of California dreaming. For spring ’16 he spun this fantasy further for a collection entitled “Rebel Angels.”

A refined midi stiletto shape is not something you expect to see at Zanotti, but with everything from spectator to mirror-metallic upper and sharp pointed toes, it worked well. Ditto a moderate wedge sandal,  with a slim profile and shown in a full color wheel of suedes.

The mid-heel is in the spotlight for spring, according to Giuseppe Zanotti, who added his own personal, glittery edge to feminine sandals strapped around the ankles. “The mid-heel is difficult, but now it feels super-sexy,” said the designer. “This is a precise response to a market request.” Zanotti also pointed to the “hybrid,” a unisex design that he defined “neither elegant, nor a sneaker,” with rubber soles and gold metallic zippers on the side. But fear not, Zanotti also went all-high with disco, metallic platforms.

Show pieces included an open-toe booties with large silver rings linking the top and bottom halves and barb-wore cage heels with ladder-strapping, eye-catching as can be.
