Armani Privé Fall 2014 Couture

1 of 52

What’s black, white and red all over? The punch line to the joke is, as everyone knows, a newspaper, but today, it also applies to the Armani Privé fall/winter 2014 couture show. Sculpted short suits and tented jackets led the way for a dramatic second half of the presentation: a series of red-carpet gowns in sultry shades of crimson. The models’ hair was twirled into an off-center French twist, and topped with veils in a variety of lengths and shapes during the latter part of the show. This black, ladylike net in particular adds just the right amount of wearable drama to an otherwise all-red showstopper of a look.
