In Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, a multi-million dollar extravaganza broadcast later in the US on CBS, top fashion models show off the latest in lingerie, leisure wear and accessories.

The supermodels featured this year include Lily Aldridge, Allesandro Ambrosio, Lindsay Elllingson, Erin Heatherton, Rosie Huntingdon, Chanel Iman, Doutzen Kroes, Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, and Candice Swanepoel. Special guests include Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Bruno Mars.

In the news this year was the “Sexy Little Geisha” outfit in Victoria’s Go East collection ($98), which critics considered to be degrading Asian culture for Western consumption. The outfit was withdrawn by the company from the online shop.

In 2002, the US National Organization for Women complained that the show was a “soft-core porn infomercial” but the organizers have so far never been fined. The annual show started in New York City in 1995.
