0From Fall to Spring, New York to Paris, and everything in between Fashion Style Magazine has you covered with the latest fashion trends for men from the runway to your wardrobe.
Men’s Fall and Winter fashion trends for 2012 / 2013 dictate a new flair in men’s fashion..” It seems that the last five years or so men’s fashions have gotten very typical, neutral, and somewhat boring.” Not this Fall bud, all the boring has been put under. What you can expect to find on the racks this Fall/Winter 2012/2013 is bold patterns, suits that are fitted, double breasted with wider cut lapels, and in sports trousers think shorter lengths… Oh, and tons to of hats… It appears that the designer’s have looked back to the 1940′s, and mixed it all up , to come out with some fabulous manly fashions. Think Clark Gable or Boggie, and you will be on the right track.
Take shirts for instance, the Fall/ Winter of 2012 trends will give all you guys a chance to wear a tie, with a bold plaid shirt! Oh, and oversized checks with bold patterned stripes…Mixed patterns will totally dominate this season. So stock up…
The trend this fall will give you permission to mix patterns, so, enjoy and have some fun with the trend. Try a tweed jacket, with a complimentary plaid shirt (make sure your shirt pulls in one of the jackets color pallet) and a pair of jeans. Could not hurt ro add a bold colored scarf, now could it?
For The Man That Tend To Appreciate The Classics
Men, an easy way to step out of your comfort zone is actually with color. Start off by perhaps adding a trend on Fall colored cardigan or vest to your wardrobe or maybe just a shirt, or a vivid new scarf. Just a little bit of color can lend an updated look to your otherwise classic look. Hey, when the economy is down, wouldn’t a bit of bright color lend to brighten your spirit?
The Shape Of Things To Come – That Is In Fashion Anyway
In addition to bold colors, cardigans and vests with V-necks, are among a must have this season.
Men also will notice that the trousers are getting an update .The flat front trousers are still popular. However, this Fall you will see the racks touting trousers with pleated fronts. Mirroring the trousers of the fifties…
Trendy Men – Must Haves!
Every fashionable man should have a sport coat in his closet. Trendy men think pattern, yes pattern. The patterned sports coat is a must for a guy that likes to keep up totally with trend on fashions.
Now, of coarse you know you still need that stand out navy blazer,( every man needs a basic navy blazer) but a great pattern blazer or even a sporty tweed coat is a must for the trendy man…
A tweed flannel sports coat is a great look for fall.
The trend setter will also need a front pleated trouser, and a skinny pair of faded jeans, and a pair of relaxed baggy jean.
What’s up in sweaters for trend setters – you name it, stripes are popular, along with patterns, and solid bright colored sweaters.
Accessories dictate all bright colors should be in the trendy guys closet.
Men’s fashion will take on hues that are similar to the women’s fashion’s for fall/winter of 2011. However, with a few variations, keeping it real, and masculine. The old stand-by or should I say reliable basic colors are as always around. To including hues such as, Tans, Coffee browns Cedarwood, Deep dark Teal, Dark Burgundy , gray, and black will anchor the palette for menswear this fall, while vibrant accents colors will be around for the brave…. Color’s like Bamboo gold, Burnt Sienna, Raspberry Wine, also a bit of red, and orange, just to add a bit of pop !
Although orange is muted to give a more masculine feel to aa garment. Burnt Sienna orange is a great standard color that serves as the standard, fall classic color. So, one may want to stick with a toned down sienna, that is if you shy away from the brighter colors…
Let’s talk accent pieces, which can include ties, scarves and pocket squares. This might be where you might consider using one of the more vivid fall colors. Try a pop of orange or red when choosing a tie or scarf. Want a toned down alternative, choose your accessory in tones of Honeysuckle yellow , deep Raspberry wine or a deep wood tone. There is still a place for a wonderful sparkling Merlot wine or a deep Chestnut brown. However, if you want to stay on trend, and make a statement, pick an accessory on red or one of the brighter hues of Fall..
I suggest if your base color (shirt , trouser, coat) is muted, such as charcoal, black, brown, add some color to make your outfit work for you…. A Deep Teal, Cedarwood, Raspberry Wine is a spectacular with the basics. Wine color is perfect with navy or gray.
