The black enamel Serpenti watch by Bulgari

This year, Bulgari has gone back to its serpentine roots, with reptile-inspired scales and pieces that twist around the wrist in a nod to the label’s classic Serpenti design from the 1940s. For 2012, the snake-inspired watch has been updated in 18 carat pink gold, and just like the Vogue Paris September edition, Bulgari goes back to black with brilliant-sized diamonds arranged in a scale-like design on black enamel bracelet links. The snakehead watchface itself features black sapphires with by six diamonds either side, and a Swiss quartz movement especially designed for Bulgari.
