Lattice Me Up!

I came across a street style photo this week of someone wearing Charlotte Olympia’s Zena boots outside the shows (NY or London I think). They were so goregous on the foot and now I can’t find the photo anywhere (if you find this photo, please send it to me!). It’s had me thinking about lattice…again. Several designers have used this technique with their own style this season. I especially love the Ralph Lauren Collection Jebria heels which feature a military-inspired cage silhouette with hand-pieced gold tone chain links. You can’t talk about latticework in footwear without mentioning Sergio Rossi; the crystal-embellished scalloped design is their signature.
