Best of Giuseppe Zanotti this Season

Giuseppe Zanotti’s Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection was inspired by the fashion photography of Helmut Newton. Newton is most famous for his nude photos of women taken in 50′s & 60′s. Many of Zanotti’s designs are also great examples of popular shoe trends this fall including colorful fur and “ankle candy”. We also see a variety of embellishment including crystals, studs, spikes and gold heel caps.

Several celebrities have already worn this collection: Scarlett Johansson was spotted in the crystal embellished stiletto during The Avengers promo tour; Jennifer Lopez wore the snake/wave sandal on American Idol and Selena Gomez performed in the ankle-wrap sandal.

My favorite designs are the “Jekyll and Hyde” sandal in pink, the embellished bow t-strap sandal and my must-have shoe is the ankle-wrap scalloped sandal in black suede.
